Be Kind to Yourself

2020 is proving to be a very challenging time. Each month comes with new hurdles and uncertainties. In such times, I encourage you to make your mental wellbeing a priority.

As the headlines continue to paint a grim reality, take time to switch off from the news and social media. Check in with yourself and your loved ones. Find something that brings you joy.

Remember, it’s okay not to be okay.

Which is why we are super excited about the collaboration between Sampa The Great and Pola Psychology who are advocating and raising funds for African-Australian youth to have access to Mental Wellbeing services.

Pola Psychology have also curated a directory listing of culturally aware psychologists and therapists in Victoria who have experience with servicing multicultural communities.

Here's hoping for a kinder August.

In the meantime, wear your mask or face covering whenever you leave your home for any of the approved reasons, wash your hands, practice social distancing and if you experience any symptoms, please get tested and stay home until you get your results.

For those battling the virus, please stay home and we wish you a speedy and safe recovery.

For those mourning the loss of loved ones, our hearts go out to you.
